Ten man Bromley suffered a three goal defeat away to Chesterfield on Tuesday night, having had Omar Sowunmi sent off after only 22 minutes, quickly followed by manager Andy Woodman being ordered off by Referee Oliver Yates.

Woodman made four changes to the starting line up that got a point at Notts County on Saturday, playing two up front with Louis Dennis partnering Michael Cheek and it was Dennis who had the first chance of the game when his volley was saved by Thompson.
From there Chesterfield had lots of possession, but The Ravens kept them at bay right up until the 22nd minute when Sowunmi, on his 100th appearance for Bromley, saw red for a strong challenge on Naylor in the midfield.
In the arguments that followed Woodman was sent off, but the member of the Chesterfield staff who shoved Alex Dyer escaped unpunished.
Once things settled Oldaker had a shot saved by Grant Smith and Bim Pepple headed over a Sparkes cross at the home side looked to press home their advantage.
Chesterfield’s breakthrough came on 36 minutes when patient build up play around the box eventually saw Dobra let fly from 25 yards and the ball deflected off Kamarl Grant and past Smith to make it 1-0.
Duffy forced Smith into another save just before the break, but things were looking tough for The Ravens.
The second half saw The Spireites start on top with Sparkes firing over, but after a long spell of pressure, Bromley battled back. The Ravens suffered another blow when Idris Odutayo had to go off injured and Smith had to have lengthy treatment for a head injury sustained in a collision with former Bromley loanee Pepple.
Danny Imray had a shot parried by Thompson on a rare break for The Ravens, who still harboured hopes of an equaliser, but Chesterfield’s pressure finally paid off on 82 minutes when Madden won the ball off Grant in midfield and set up Dobra on the right, who crossed for Colclough to convert from six yards out for 2-0 to kill the game off.
Bromley had a shout for a penalty soon after, when Dennis appeared to be brought down by Mandeville, but Mr Oliver waved the appeals away and the home side broke upfield to make it 3-0 when Fleck found Madden with a superb pass and the the striker crashed the ball high into the net to seal the win for Andy Cook’s men.
Bromley had a brief rally of corners in injury time, but the final word fell to Metcalfe who fired over from range.
Bromley, who are now without a win since 2nd January, will have to regroup and get ready for the visit of Grimsby Town to Hayes Lane on Saturday minus Sowunmi and with Woddman not able to take his place on the bench.
