The Gills are looking for three league wins in a row this Tuesday as they travel to Gloucestershire to face Cheltenham Town at the EV Charger Points Stadium.

Gillingham secured successive league wins for the first time since September as they comfortably beat Harrogate 3-0 on Saturday under the watchful eye of almost 500 travelling fans.
The win moved the Gills two places up the table to 12th on 38 points – seven away from the playoff places.
The performance against Harrogate was reassuringly convincing as they won by three goals for only the second time this season. While the game was goalless in the first half, Gillingham were comfortably dominating the North Yorkshire side with plenty of shots on target, but Harrogate were clinging on. Finally, the deadlock was broken by Connor Masterson’s second goal in two weeks before Armani Little and Sam Vokes put the game beyond the home side’s reach.
Cheltenham are currently 18th in the table, eight points behind Gillingham, but 10 clear of the relegation zone.
They had a dreadful start to the season losing their first five games, however results picked up around October with solid wins against Fleetwood and Walsall. They then won seven of their next twelve fixtures, but recent form has been poor with four losses from their last five, including Saturday’s 2-0 loss at home to Grimsby.
Gillingham and Cheltenham have played each other on 20 occasions, with the Gills winning six and Cheltenham four. They last faced each other on 11th October at Priestfield, when Elliot Nevitt rescued a point for the Gills with a 95th minute equaliser.
The Gillingham squad remains healthy in terms of player availability, despite losing Jonny Smith to an injury in the 19th minute at Harrogate. New signing from Newport Cameron Antwi will be available in midfield, while Elliot Nevitt has departed on loan to Cambridge United.
With momentum behind them and Cheltenham on a poor run of recent form, this is an important fixture for manager Gareth Ainsworth. He will be keen to use the boost of two wins in a row to keep the squad motivated to reach the playoffs, which are certainly still well within reach. However, with a heavy schedule of five games in 14 days, he will also need to manage his players’ minutes – particularly the likes of Bradley Dack and Garath McCleary.
Fingers crossed for three wins from three.
