Chatham Town got their first win of the season and what a win it was against a really good Ramsgate side, but maybe just the experience Chatham had of being in this league while Ramsgate were only promoted last season.

The game had a frantic start to it as both sides went for it, the first chance of the game came in the fifth minute when Olusanya Fadahunsi in the area saw his cross shot go just past the post.
Three minutes later Chatham took the lead when Kasim Aidoo on the left wing saw his low pass find Fadahunsi and from eight yards he passed the ball into the net.
In the tenth minute Ramsgate had their first chance when Jerome Binnon-Williams running forward unchallenged and from twenty yards saw his shot go just past the post, three minutes later a long ball forward was flicked on for Benedict Bioletti on the right and he went into the area and from an acute angle saw his shot come back of the post.
Ramsgate finally got their reward with an equaliser in the thirty fifth minute when Alfie Paxman headed in from ten yards.
Chatham restored their lead in the fortieth minute when Kian Moynes got to the by-line and his low cross found Sam Folarin who from six yards knocked into the net.
In the first minute of added on time Moynes saw his twenty five yard shot saved by Aiden Prall. Half time arrived and Chatham would be pleased to be ahead while Ramsgate would wonder how they were losing.
The second half took a while to get going as both sides gave the ball away then in the seventieth minute Ramsgate equalised when Paxman was fouled just inside the area by Aidoo and a penalty was given, Paxman got up and passed the ball into the bottom left hand corner.
Three minutes later they nearly took the lead when Henry Molyneux taking his time saw his kick charged down by Tijan Jadamma and go just over the bar.
In the 76th minute Chatham restored their lead again when a free kick into the area found Stanley Oldfield who saw his flicked header from six yards hit the back of the net.
Chatham made sure of the points in the eighty fourth minute when a free kick into the area was half cleared to Moynes and his shot from twenty five yards was side footed into the net by Oldfield, it could have been worse for Ramsgate as in the second minute of added on time a free kick into the area saw a header come back of the post.
The full time whistle went and the majority of the fans were celebrating a great win and look forward to Saturday’s game against Cheshunt.
