Charlton win behind closed doors game
Charlton enjoyed a comfortable 3-0 win over Championship side Ipswich in a behind-closed-doors friendly‎ at Sparrows Lane on Tuesday.

Mark Marshall scored two of the goals and Freddie Yao got the other. One of Marshall’s goals was a peach of a free-kick.
Ben Reeves also got another 30 minutes under his belt.
The Addicks have a blank weekend coming up – the game with Peterborough has been postponed due to international call ups for Jay Dasilva, Ezri Konsa and Josh Magennis.
‎Karl Robinson’s side will play an internal game on Saturday, but they need to make the most of the respite from competitive action.
The rearranged Peterborough game has been added to an already crowded November schedule.
Posh will visit The Valley on Tuesday the 28th, but prior to that, Charlton will face Fulham Under-21s and Portsmouth in the Checkatrade Trophy at The Valley.
They will also entertain MK Dons and Rochdale in the league, and have difficult trips to Shrewsbury and Scunthorpe.
In addition to these seven games, Robinson’s side will be involved in the first round of the FA Cup at the beginning of the month.
So the punishing schedule will see the Addicks play at least eight games in November, nine if a replay is required in the FA Cup tie.
Robinson will have to make good use of his squad to avoid fatigue.
‎Valley fans will have the chance to see their team in action on at least five occasions. This will increase if Charlton are drawn at home in the FA Cup.
AFC Wimbledon visit The Valley on 28 October, so a home FA Cup draw would see the Addicks play four games in a row at The Valley.
November will be a tough month for the fans too as they juggle their pre-Christmas budgets.
With December and the busy Christmas schedule to follow, November will be a pivotal month in the season.
