Wembley awaits Charlton Athletic and Leyton Orient as they contest their Sky Bet Division One play-off decider with a place in the Championship at stake.

Both overcame tight two leg eliminators to qualify. Finishing in fourth place at the end of the league season, the Addicks drew nil-nil at the team who came fifth, Wycombe Wanderers. They then clinched their spot with a late goal by Matty Godden in the return match at The Valley.
Having been held two-all at Brisbane Road, the O’s, who finished sixth in the table visited third placed Stockport County and, after a one-one draw, won the penalty shoot-out four-one.
In their two league encounters during the season, Charlton completed the double over Orient with their most recent meeting being at Brisbane Road in March. Two stoppage time goals, scored by defenders Macauley Gillesphey and Kwayne Ramsay turned the game on its head after Jordan Brown had put the hosts ahead early in the second period.
Their earlier game at the Valley, back in December, was also decided in time added on when Luke Berry scored the only goal. Games between the two teams haven’t been all one way though. When they met in South East London in the EFL Trophy, Orient won two-nil. Incredibly, both of those goals were also scored in the additional minutes after the ninety had been played.
Both teams finished the season strongly and Charlton manager, Nathan Jones, knows that the seven point advantage that the Addicks held over Orient at the end of the season will count for little in a one-off London derby at the national stadium, with so much at stake.
