Charlton Athletic v MK Dons preview
Charlton Athletic v MK Dons preview
Tuesday’s match against MK Dons at The Valley will be dedicated to the memory ‎of East Stand season ticket holder, PC Keith Palmer.

‎The players will wear special shirts bearing PC Palmer’s warrant number. There will be a minute’s silence before kick-off, and 50% of ticket sales, as well as the players’ match fees, will be donated to Keith’s family.
Charlton have only won one of their last thirteen matches, and still need a few points to be sure of their place in League One next season.
In many of their recent outings, the Addicks have enjoyed good spells but failed to capitalise on their chances.
Karl Robinson has injury problems with his strikers. Josh Magennis recovered from a hamstring problem to take his place on the bench at Peterborough on Saturday, and is likely to start this game.
Both Tony Watt (ankle) and Lee Novak (groin) carried knocks into Saturday’s game. Robinson will have to assess their fitness, and whether to risk them.
Jason Pearce was on the bench on Saturday, and is another who could start this game.
Charlton could look something like this:
Rudd; Byrne, Bauer, Pearce, Chicksen; Crofts, Ulvestad, Forster-Caskey, Holmes; Magennis, Novak.
Subs: Phillips, Dasilva, Teixeira, Jackson, Botaka, Aribo, Watt.
Andy Haines from Tyne & Wear will be the referee.
Robinson will want to beat his old team, and his current side are desperate for a win.
It will be an emotional night for obvious reasons, but three points ‎are needed to quell growing anxiety at The Valley.
