Charlton Athletic 3-0 Swindon Town
An emotive afternoon at The Valley, as Johnnie Jackson made what is likely to be his final appearance‎.

The skipper was voted into second place by the fans in the‎ Player Of The Year poll. Ricky Holmes was the runaway winner, and he was presented with his trophy on the pitch ahead of kick-off.
Jackson tried everything to get on the score sheet, and came closest eight minutes after the interval when he jinked inside, but was foiled by  Will Henry.
Already relegated Swindon used the game to give several of their fringe players an outing.
The game was open and entertaining, though Charlton had the bulk of the chances.
The Addicks took the lead after 14 minutes. A perfectly flighted cross by Jay Dasilva was met by a thumping Josh Magennis header.
Karl Robinson’s side doubled their advantage two minutes before the interval. A clever move involving Holmes and Nathan Byrne gave man-on-a-mission, Jake Forster-Caskey the opportunity to turn the ball home.
Holmes notched his thirteenth goal of the season after ‎66 minutes when he turned in Byrne’s cross.
But the biggest cheer of the afternoon was reserved for the skipper. The entire crowd rose to their feet to applaud Jackson when he was replaced by Karlan Ahearne-Grant after 74 minutes.
With the pitch encircled by stewards in anticipation of a pitch invasion, referee John Brooks did not play any additional time.
Charlton ended a disappointing season in 13th place with 60 points. They‎ must do much, much better next season and for Robinson, the planning has already begun.
