Charlton lost their latest warm-up game 3-2 to Southend at Sparrows Lane on Tuesday.

Lee Bowyer again fielded 22 players in the game, but this time the starting X1 played for an hour before being substituted.

The starters won their match 2-0, but the substitutes lost 3-0.

Josh D‎avison opened the scoring from the penalty spot on 17 minutes after George Lapslie was tripped by the keeper. Then on the stroke of half-time Lapslie crashed home the second from 30 yards.

But the game was stood on its head after 72 minutes when the Shrimpers netted twice in a minute.

First, Brandon Goodship headed in from close range, then an unstoppable Erin Kinali strike from 35 yards levelled things up.

The turnaround was completed a minute from time when Isaac Hutchinson‎ scored with a 20 yard shot.

‎Josh Clarke had another run out, and the Addicks also played 21-year-old former Crystal Palace and Burney left-back,  Ali Koiki. Koiki is 6-2″ tall and hails from Croydon.
