Addicks U21s set for big test

Those suffering the usual withdrawal symptoms during the international break,  can get their Charlton fix at Nuneaton’s James Parnell Stadium on Monday afternoon.

The Addicks  Under-21 side will be playing Coventry. The weather in the Midlands over the weekend has not been good, so the match is likely to be played on a heavy pitch.

Ayo Obileye made his debut for Dagenham & Redbridge as a late substitute on Saturday. He joined the Daggers on a youth loan so could still play against Coventry.

Joe Gomez returned to the first team bench at Reading. The youngster was injured in the win at Norwich at the end of September and Bob Peeters may see this game as an opportunity to give Gomez a run out.

The game will kick-off at 2.00pm and admission is £3 and £1 for juniors.
