Charlton finally got their man when they announced on Saturday that Ahmed Kashi will sign a deal on Monday.

The 26-year-old Algerian is a holding midfielder and is currently with Metz. Kashi is a player that is highly rated by Guy Luzon.
A strong Addicks line-up including Stephen Henderson, Chris Solly, Alou Diarra, Andre Bikey, Rhoys Wiggins, Johnnie Jackson and Igor Vetokele were named in the starting line-up. Unfortunately Henderson sustained an injury in the warm-up and had to be replaced by Dimita Mitov.
