Canterbury Rugby club Head Coach Andy Pratt includes four debutants in his squad for the opening fixture of the National 2 South league season on Saturday.

Full back Ollie Best and scrum half Dan Smart are named in the starting line-up at Clifton while prop Sam Kenny and half back Tom Wathey are among the replacements in the 20-man squad.

Regular full back Martyn Beaumont, the Kent County Number 15, switches to centre to plug gaps caused by pre-season injury.

Smart, a new signing from Glasgow Hawks, and former Medway player Best will be in a side looking to avenge two defeats at the hands of Bristol-based Clifton last season.
