Bromley are back in League Two action on Saturday lunchtime when they travel up to The Abbey Stadium to take on Cambridge United.

The Ravens go into the game having won 1-0 away at Crewe Alexandra last weekend thanks to a second half goal from Michael Cheek, his sixth of the season.
The win took Andy Woodman’s men up to tenth in the table with 18 points from 12 league games and ended a run of six matches without a win, with the manager full of praise for his team and the travelling supporters.
Woodman changed the shape of the team for the trip to Crewe switching to a back four and the resulting clean sheet will have pleased him after some uncharacteristic poor defensive displays of late.
Man City loanee Lakyle Samuel will be available again after being away on England Under 20s duty last week, while Byron Webster’s suspension has now been served. Corey Whitely & Deji Elerewe were both out injured for Crewe, carl Jenkinson remains a long term absentee.
A young Bromley side won their Kent Senior Cup game away at Dover Athletic on penalties on Tuesday night after a 3-3 draw. Jemiah Omolu with two goals and Nathan Patten with the other. Keeper Dillon Addai making two saves in the shootout, with the winning spot kick coming from Sam German.
Cambridge Utd go into the game having lost 2-0 away at Shrewsbury Town last Saturday, leaving them one place below Bromley in the table on goal difference having also picked up 18 points from a dozen games. Manager Neil Harris was very critical of his side’s performance and the defensive mistakes that lead to the defeat in Shropshire, describing it as shambolic.
The teams met twice last year, once in a pre-season friendly in Portugal and then in the EFL Trophy at Hayes Lane, the tie ending 3-3 with The Ravens winning 5-4 on penalties. The Us were relegated from League One at the end of the 2024/25 campaign, but Harris is looking to get them back up at the first time of asking.
This looks set to be a close fought encounter between two sides with almost identical records and keen to find a bit of consistent form heading into The Autumn.
Kick off is at 12;30pm and is live on Sky Sports Plus.
