Dan Brooks heads to his home round at Brands Hatch this weekend, looking to build on recent performances.

The rider from Strood had a hard-fought points finish at Snetterton as the series arrives at Brands Hatch, Kent for Round 5.
For Brooks, the Kent circuit is more than just another stop on the calendar. Growing up in Strood, just a stone’s throw from Brands Hatch, the iconic venue has played a significant role in his racing journey, making this one of the most anticipated events of his season. Not only that it celebrates its 100th year this year, so can he continue the momentum of his growing points score.
The MasterMac Hawk Racing Honda rider heads into the weekend with confidence after overcoming a difficult start at the previous round in Norfolk. Despite struggling to find the right feeling with the bike during Friday’s free practice sessions, the team worked tirelessly overnight to make improvements ahead of qualifying.

Those changes paid dividends as Brooks qualified 13th before battling through a hectic opening lap—which even included an excursion onto the grass—to recover brilliantly and finish 11th, this gained him 5 valuable points placing him 13th overall in the championship.
Reflecting on the Snetterton weekend, Brooks said:”P11 at Snetterton. I’ll take that result this weekend with how tough Friday went. FP1 & FP2 I didn’t have the feeling I needed from the bike, but the MasterMac Hawk Racing Honda boys worked hard that evening heading into Saturday qualifying to give me more feeling that I was much happier with.
“Started P13, pretty chaotic first couple of corners with a trip onto the grass, but recovered well and got to P11.”
Now attention turns to Brands Hatch, where Brooks hopes home support can help him take another step forward in the fiercely competitive National Superstock Championship.

With valuable data gathered from Snetterton and growing confidence in the package, Brooks and the MasterMac Hawk Racing Honda team are targeting another strong performance as they continue their progress through the 2026 campaign.
Racing in front of family, friends and local supporters always provides extra motivation, and Brooks will be looking to reward them with an impressive performance at one of Britain’s most iconic circuits.
