Bromley look to make history once again on Tuesday night when they host League One Wycombe Wanderers at Hayes Lane in the second round of the League Cup.

Bromley go into the match unbeaten so far this season, having drawn 2-2 away at Notts County on Saturday, coming from behind twice with equalisers from Ben Thompson and Idris Odutayo, Mitchell Pinnock playing a vital role in both goals. The Ravens currently sit in sixth place in League Two with nine points from five matches.
In the last round Bromley beat Ipswich Town on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Hayes Lane, Deji Elerewe with the goal for Andy Woodman’s team, goalkeeper Sam Long the hero that night with several great saves in the game and two stops in the shoot out.
Wycombe make the journey down from Buckinghamshire sitting in twenty first place in League One, with two points from five games. Mike Dodds’ side drew 2-2 at home to Reading on Saturday with goals from Fred Onyendinma & James Tilley, levelling up late on.
In the last round The Chairboys won 1-0 at Leyton Orient with an injury time goal from Jack Simpson to book their place in round two.
The last time the two sides met was back in 1986/87 season, when Wanderers were on their way to the Isthmian League Premier Division title, The Chairboys winning 4-0 at Hayes Laneand 3-0 at Loakes Park.
One familiar face to Bromley fans in the Wands squad will be Garath McLeary who played for The Ravens at the start of his career and was part of the 2007 promotion team before signing for Nottingham Forest in 2008.
This should be a cracking cup tie under the lights at Hayes Lane with the potential of a high profile opponent waiting in the third round for the winners and Bromley hoping to make it to that stage for the first time.
