It’s a meeting between League Two’s top and third placed teams at Hayes Lane on Saturday, when Bromley entertain Notts County.

The Ravens go into the game sitting top of the table with 62 points from 30 games played on a run of eleven games unbeaten. Last Saturday Andy Woodman’s side won 2-1 away at Fleetwood Town, scoring two late goals through Nicke Kabamba and Jude Arthurs to seal a come from behind victory on a very heavy pitch. Kabamba has now scored ten goals this season, nearly all coming from appearances off the bench.
Loanee centre back Zech Medley missed the game at Fleetwood as he couldn’t play against his parent club, but he is back in contention for this match to give Woodman more options at the back. Omar Sowunmi & Kyle Cameron also missed the win at Highbury Stadium due to injury, with club captain Byron Webster coming back into the side for the first time since November.
Woodman praised his team’s resilience and the changes his substitutes made to the Fleetwood game. Saying that every game from now to the end of the season is a big one and targeting the league title for The Ravens.
Notts County sit second in League Two and make the journey down from the East Midlands on the back of a 2-1 win at home to Barrow, courtesy of an own goal and one from Matthew Dennis, his thirteenth goal of the campaign. The victory took The Magpies on to 57 points from 30 matches, having won their last six consecutive games.
Magpies Manager Martin Patterson has said he will keep his squad grounded in their quest for promotion to League One, looking to improve and staying humble.
With Cheek on 14 goals & Kabamba on 10 for The Ravens, while The Magpies have Dennis on 13 and Jatta on 12, both defences are in for a tough afternoon. In the five previous meetings at Hayes Lane across the EFL and National League, Bromley have won three and County have won once, which was in September last season by four goals to two.
When the sides met at Meadow Lane in August, the game ended 2-2. Matthew Dennis scoring both Notts goals, with Bromley’s levellers coming from Ben Thompson and a late Idris Odutayo equaliser. This match looks set to be equally as close and with only sixteen matches left in the season, the stakes are high for the winners in their challenge for promotion and the title.
The game is set to be a complete sell out, kick off is at 3pm.
