The sold-out signs are up at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night, as Bromley meet Leyton Orient in League One.

Bromley go into the game having suffered a 7-2 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday afternoon, the only crumbs of comfort being two late goals from Victor Adeboyejo, who has scored all of The Ravens’ goals in League One so far this campaign.

The loss left Andy Woodman’s side on four points from three games, sitting in fifteenth place. Bromley signed two players last week in midfielder George Saville from Luton Town and left back Mikel Miller from Huddersfield Town, both may feature against Orient.

Woodman was furious with his side following the thrashing at Hillsborough, unhappy they failed to do the basics across the team and hinted he may make changes. 

Leyton Orient also come into the match on the back of a loss, going down 1-3 at home to Barnsley on Saturday afternoon. Nichols Oyekunle with a late consolation goal for The Os. The defeat left Richie Wellens’ side in seventeenth place with three points from three league matches.

The two teams met four times in the National League between 2017 and 2019, Bromley winning three of those games, including both at Hayes Lane 6-1 and 2-1. Orient were then promoted back into the Football League and on to League One, The Ravens following suit in 2024.

This looks set to be a classic match up under the lights at a packed Hayes Lane with both teams looking to bounce back from disappointing defeats and start September on a positive note.
