It’s another former Premier League club coming to Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon, when Bromley entertain Huddersfield Town in a League One Fixture.

The Ravens go into the game having halted a poor run of form with a solid 2-2 draw away at Blackpool last weekend. Victor Adeboyejo and a deflected JJ McKiernan free kick earning a point for Andy Woodman’s team, who looked far more like a Bromley side than in the previous three games, which had all ended in defeat.

The draw left The Ravens in twenty second place with five points from six league games. Bromley face a lengthy break without a league game after this fixture, due to international call ups and will be hoping to pick up a positive result before they sign off in League One until 10^th October.   

Recent signings Jodie Jones and Tobias Brenan played for the B team on Tuesday night in a Premier League Cup game against Ipswich Town Under 21s, losing 4-2 at Hayes Lane, but Andy Woodman still has an extensive list of injured players including goalkeepers Grant Smith & Shamal George, midfielder Ashley Charles and defender Deon Woodman. Left backs Jacob Mendy and Richard Taylor have also both had struggles with fitness as the manager looks to find a regular starting eleven.   

Huddersfield travel down from Yorkshire sitting in second place having amassed twelve points from six matches. Last Saturday The Terriers drew 0-0 away at Mansfield Town and Martin Drury’s side remain unbeaten in League One so far this campaign as they look to challenge for promotion back to the Championship after being relegated in 2024.
