After their penalty shootout defeat in the League Cup on Tuesday night, Bromley are back in League Two action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Harrogate Town at Hayes Lane.

Bromley go into the game unbeaten in the league so far this season having won twice and drawn three times, a 2-2 draw at Notts County last weekend was followed by a 1-1 draw with League One Wycombe Wanderers in the League Cup on Tuesday, losing 5-4 on penalties.
Andy Woodman’s side are currently sixth in the table, three points off early leaders Crewe Alexandra.
On loan Crystal Palace striker Jermiah Omolu made his debut off the bench on Tuesday after joining the club late last week. While young forward Soul Kader was sent out on loan to Hampton & Richmond Borough. Midfielder Ben Thompson should be in line for a return to the squad after missing the Wycombe game, giving Andy Woodman a few selection headaches ahead of the weekend with a strong squad nearly all available.
Harrogate Town have lost only once so far in the league this campaign, Simon Weaver’s side sit eleventh in the table with eight points from five games. Last Saturday, Town lost 2-1 at home to Chesterfield, Stephen Duke-McKenna with the equalising goal for Harrogate, before The Spireites struck again late on.
Among the Harrogate squad is forward Shawn McCoulsky, who had a short spell on loan at Bromley back in 2019, scoring once in a win over Notts County.
Harrogate were promoted into the Football League after winning the National League play offs in 2020 and have survived and consolidated in League Two ever since. Last season they finished eighteenth.
When the sides met at Hayes Lane last season Bromley ran out 2-0 winners with goals from Michael Cheek & Jude Arthurs, completing the double for The Ravens in their debut League Two season, having also won 2-0 at Weatherby Road on the opening day of the campaign.
This game looks set to be a close fought encounter between two sides who have made good starts to the 2025/26 season and looking to end August on a positive note.
