Bromley v Woking preview
Bromley v Woking preview

Following their impressive draw away at Notts County  last midweek, Bromley are back in National League action again on Wednesday night when they take on Woking at Hayes Lane.

The Ravens were without a game at the weekend, but last Tuesday they drew 1-1 at Notts County with Michael Cheek notching the second half equaliser.

The point at the league leaders ended a run of four consecutive defeats for Andy Woodman’s team and also a relative goal drought for Cheek who hadn’t scored since August and will hopefully be the catalyst for the club and it’s leading scorer for the last three seasons to kick on from here, having not won in six games.

Defender Omar Sowinmi will be avaialable for selection again follwoing a suspension.

Woking had their FA Cup match with Oxford Utd postponed on Sunday, but were in action last midweek when a Padraig Amond goal gave The Cards a 1-0 win over Yeovil Town at Kingfield.

Bromley currently sit in eighth place with twenty five points from seventeen league games, while their visitors sit in fifth with thirty points from seventeen National League matches so far.

This is Woking’s first season as a full time professional team and new manager Darren Sarll has seen his team make a more than solid start to the campaign, winning nine and drawing three.

When the sides met last season Bromley completed the double over Woking, winning 2-0 away thanks to second half goals from George Alexander and Jack Cawley in November and 1-0 at home in January, Jude Arthurs with the only goal that night.

With both teams challenging for the play off places this looks set to be another close, entertaining game under the lights at Hayes Lane.

Tickets are available from the official club website in advance at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £7 for Under 16s, Under 11s free with a paying adult. Prices increase by £2 on the match day and home fans can now pay on the gate.

There is also a printed programme available at the match for £3.00.
