Bromley v Weymouth preview
Bromley v Weymouth preview

After a weekend off Bromley return to National League action on Tuesday night when they entertain Weymouth at Hayes Lane.

The Ravens go into the game sitting in tenth place with 13 points from 7 matches played, on the back off three consecutive wins including a 3-1 home win over Grimsby Town last Tuesday night, coming back from one down, courtesy of goals from Michael Cheek, James Alabi and Corey Whitely.

If Andy Woodman’s side were to win both their games in hand Bromley could potentially move up into the top three.

Weymouth travel over from Dorset sitting in seventeenth with 8 points from 9 games played, last Saturday The Terras lost 2-1 at home to Stockport County, Sean Shields putting Weymouth in front before County scored twice in the second half.

After a positive start to the season Brian Stock’s side have now gone five games without a win and will be keen to turn things around quickly, knowing a win would take them back into mid-table.

When the sides met at Hayes Lane in October last season Bromley won 3-2, while Weymouth won the return match 2-1 in February 2021 with goals from Andrew Dallas & Jordan Ngalo, Joe Kizzi with The Ravens goal, who had two players sent off that afternoon.

If Tuesday’s game is anywhere near as eventful as these two games the supporters will certainly be entertained. With a track record of entertaining games and both sides looking for wins, this should be another good match up under the lights at Hayes Lane.

Tickets for the match are available in advance only from the official Bromley FC website.
