Bromley are back in National League action at Hayes Lane on Saturday as they entertain Torquay United with the visitors from Devon still needing points to secure safety from relegation.

Bromley v Tranmere EB2

The Gulls arrive on a decent run of form having won three of their last four games and on the back of an important 2-0 victory over fellow strugglers Altrincham on Tuesday night.

Neil Smith’s Ravens sit comfortably in twelfth place on 60points, but could be without up to seven players as once again injuries take their toll on the small squad, a plight made even more frustrating with three players out on loan who can’t be recalled.

Last time out Bromley drew 0-0 at Altrincham and will be looking to find a spark up front again to compliment the solid back four and keeper who have kept two clean sheets in a row.

With Smith confirmed as manager on a two year deal he will be looking for The Ravens to finish the season strong and achieve the target of a top ten finish in their debut National League season.

Another 1,000 plus crowd is expected at The Lane for what should be an entertaining game with a lot still riding on it for Torquay who will also be looking for some revenge for the 7-3 defeat inflicted by Bromley on them at Plainmoor back in September.
