Bromley return to National League action at Hayes Lane on Saturday when then entertain Stockport County and for the first time this season they are able to play in from of a limited number of paying spectators.

The Ravens go into the game unbeaten in six and having won 4-1 away at Kings Lynn Town on Tuesday night with goals from James Alabi, Michael Cheek, Reeco Hackett-Fairchild and Liam Trotter.

The win took Neil Smith’s side up to third in the table with 19 points from 11 league matches, six points off leaders Torquay Utd.

Stockport make the journey down sitting in thirteenth place with 13 points from 7 league games, last Saturday The Hatters defeated Yeovil Town 3-2 in the FA Cup after extra time with goals from John Rooney, Ash Palmer and Conor Jennings.

County are unbeaten in three matches, but haven’t played a National League match in a month due to cup commitments and postponements.

When the sides met at Hayes Lane last season in October 2019 the game ended 2-2 with all the goals coming in the first half, while the match at Edgeley Park in February 2020 ended 1-0 to Stockport with a second half goal from Liam Hogan.

County were placed in eight place using PPG when the season ended in March due to Covid-19, which saw them denied a place in the play offs despite amassing more points than Barnet.

Jim Gannon’s Hatters will be hoping to make up ground on those above them in the table as they embark on a hectic fixtures schedule, which includes a home Third Round FA Cup tie against West Ham Utd of the Premier League in January.

While Bromley will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run and cement their place as challengers in the play off zone.
