Bromley v Solihull Moors preview

Having won their last two games away from home and reignited their chances of making the play offs, Bromley are back it National League action at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon when they take on Solihull Moors.

The Ravens picked up single goal victories in their last two matches, 1-0 away at Yeovil last Saturday and then 3-2 in a dramatic encounter away at Maidstone United on Tuesday night with an injury time winner from Louis Dennis, his second of the match, and one from Deji Elerewe, the Charlton loanee defender’s first for the club.

The only downside being a red card for Lincoln City loanee striker Charlie Kendall who will be suspended for the next match.

The wins have taken Bromley back up to eighth in the table, with 58 points from 39 matches, just four points behind Boreham Wood in seventh with seven games left to play.

Manager Andy Woodman who was delighted with the spirit and fight his team showed in midweek said he is not looking at the table, just playing every game as a cup final and seeing where they end up once the season has finished.

Solihull make the trip down from the West Midlands sitting in tenth with 55 points from 39 games played, unbeaten in March despite the departures of Ryan Bennett & top scorer Andrew Dallas to Wrexham & Chesterfield due to cost cutting measures.

Last weekend Neil Ardley’s side drew 1-1 away at Oldham Athletic, Jack Stevens with an injury time equaliser on his debut to secure a point for The Moors.

When the sides met in the reverse fixture at the ARMCO Arena back in October, the match ended 2-2 with Solihull scoring two goals in injury time from Josh Kelly & Alex Reid, after Bromley had lead 2-0 through George Alexander & Jude Arthurs.

This match looks set to be equally as tight with both teams needing three points to keep in touch with the top seven and continue their recent good form.

Match Tickets are available from the official club website in advance at £20 for adults, £15 for concessions and £7 for Under 16s. Prices increase by £2 on the match day and home fans can now pay on the gate. There is also a printed programme available at the match for £3.00.

Kick off is at 3pm.
