Bromley v Oldham Athletic preview

Bromley are back in National League action on Saturday afternoon when they entertain Oldham Athletic at Hayes Lane.

The Ravens beat Maidstone Utd 3-0 at home last weekend with two goals from Adam Marriott and one from Omar Sowunmi, the win took Andy Woodman’s team up to seventh in the table with sixteen points from nine matches.

The only downside of the win coming with a serious injury to goalkeeper Reice Charles-Cook who looks to be out for some time.

This in turn though gives Arsenal loanee keeper Tom Smith the chance to gain first team action at Bromley.

Founder members of the Premier League, Oldham were relegated to the National League at the end of  last season and are currently finding their feet in non league football under new ownership.

The Latics appointed new manager David Unsworth this week and will be looking to build on last Saturday’s 3-2 win over Eastleigh at Boundary Park thanks to goals from Luke Burgess, Mike Fondop & Dan Wellens.

The win moved Oldham to fourteenth with eleven points from nine league games.

The teams haven’t met in a competitive fixture before and a big crowd is expected at Hayes Lane for this one as both teams look to build on victories last time out.

To celebrate Non-League Day the club have been reduced prices to Adults £15, Concessions £10, Under 16s £5 and 11 years and under go free.

These can be booked via the Bromley FC website.
