Bromley v Charlton Athletic preview

After the disappointment of Saturday’s defeat to Tranmere, Bromley take a break from the National League to get back in cup action this Tuesday night at Hayes Lane where they entertain Charlton Athletic on the Quarter Final of the Kent Senior Cup.

Bromley v Tranmere EB4

Charlton have been using their Development squad for these games and having beaten Hythe Town 1-0 and Cray Wanderers 4-1, will be looking to continue their run towards retaining the trophy they won last season.

The young Addicks team play some exciting attacking football, which will give their fans some hope for the future, and will certainly be a stern test for The Ravens defence.

Bromley manager Mark Goldberg has said he will give game time to players in the squad who have been short of match action lately, plus he will be playing his son Bradley in a more familiar role up front, resting top scorer Moses Emmanuel.

In the previous rounds, Bromley won 2-1 at Dover Athletic before beating Whitstable Town 4-0 at Hayes Lane and they have stated that they will be taking the competition seriously with a possible chance of silverware only two more games away.

With a place in the semi final at stake, both sides will be looking to extend their interest in the completion and with prices reduced to £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, hopefully the club will be rewarded with a decent crowd for this one.
