Bromley make two more additions

Bromley signed up two more of the team that finished last season at the weekend with experienced defender Roger Johnson and striker Omar Bugeil committing to the club for the new season.

Lebanese International Bugeil was on loan from Forest Green Rovers at the end of the last campaign, but having been released by the League Two club he has now signed a permanent deal with The Ravens.

Johnson joined last winter after his contract ended at Charlton Athletic and formed an impressive partnership with Jack Holland in central defence.

Both players were involved in key incidents during the FA Trophy Final with Bugeil scoring Bromley’s goal, but also missing their last penalty in the shoot out.

Johnson was unfortunate enough to deflect the Brackley equaliser into the net with 20 seconds left in injury time of the tie, a cruel twist to what was an impressive display from the veteran in the game at Wembley.

The club also released a preview of the new kits for 2018/19, which will go on sale in August.
