Bromley ran out comfortable winners over a struggling Truro side with an efficient display of attacking football and solid defending at Hayes lane on Saturday.Bromley

Bromley got off to the perfect start when Louie Theophanous had a shot saved by Paul Hider, but Ali Fuseini pounced on the rebound to score at the second attempt inside the first minute.

Truro rallied though and went close via Les Afful, the game then evened out with The Ravens having better possession, but they only mustered one effort on goal when Ishmael Welsh’s powerful drive was palmed away by Hider.

Debutant centre back Dawayne Campbell had to be carried off on 29 minutes, but sub Mike Jones deputised well.

The second half saw Bromley once again start well and they were 2-0 up on 46 minutes when Fuseini set up Theophanous to finish well.

Theophanous then had a goal disallowed for pushing and Fuseini went close while Andrew Watkins had two efforts saved by Joe Welch at the other end.

Just after the hour Bromley made it 3-0 when Mike Jones crossed for Pierre Joseph-Dubois to finish smartly past Hider and on 68 minutes it was 4-0 when Dubois finished off a great move converting Max Noble’s perfect pass.

The game then drifted with Truro having two late chances, but Afful’s effort was tipped over by Welch and Cody Cooke blazed over keeping Bromley’s clean sheet intact.
