Bromley came back from a goal down to pick up a vital three points against promotion chasing Milton Keynes Dons at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon.

With Andy Woodman serving the first game of his three match touchline ban, The Ravens went into the game with Grant Smith coming back in goal and a change of shape back to 5-3-2., but it was the visitors who took the early initiative.
A goal kick from Smith was intercepted by Nathaniel Mendez-Laing on the left and he crossed for Rishian Hepburn-Murphy to convert from close range and put the third placed Dons in front on 5 minutes.
Bromley picked themselves up from the early set back and started to press their visitors from there in a really physical battle handled well by Referee Kirsty Dowle.
The Ravens pressed with a series of long throws and set pieces, but MK always threatened to strike on the break with their quick passing game.
Mitchell Pinnock, who was at the heart of most of Bromley’s creativity, crossed for Omar Sowunmi who headed wide, before play was held up for several minutes when Nicke Kabamba and Dons keeper Craig MacGivillvray collided challenging for a cross and both had to go off with head injuries.
The Ravens pressed again from there, Pinnock had a free kick deflected wide and Michael Cheek saw a header cleared off the line by Luke Offord from another Pinnock ball.
Right at the break, Milton Keynes broke up field and Jon Mellish crossed for Will Collar who just failed to connect to the ball at the far post.

The second half saw The Dons start on the front foot, Liam Kelly nearly caught Smith out with a cross from the left that went just wide of the far post and Mendez-Laing had two shots saved by Smith soon after.
With Bromley rallying on the hour mark, MK broke again, but Jude Arthurs did brilliantly to break up the play on the edge of the Bromley box.
When the equaliser finally came it was no surprise that Pinnock was involved as he crossed from the right and Brooklyn Ilunga played the ball towards goal, which Deji Elerewe touched home in a crowded area to make it 1-1 on 73 minutes.
With Milton Keynes seemingly stunned, Bromley took the lead on 80 minutes when Ashley Charles played the ball to Corey Whitely who crossed from the left for Omar Sowunmi to head powerfully home from six yards out.
For the final few minutes Kyle Cameron came on to add another defender and Bromley held out for a much needed three points, which maintains their unbeaten home record.
The win takes Bromley up to eleventh in the League Two table, two points off the play off places, ahead of their FA Cup First Round game at home to Bristol Rovers next Saturday.
