Bromley lost their first home league game in 18 months as they were comprehensively outclassed by Leyton Orient at Hayes Lane on Tuesday night.
Andy Woodman made several changes to his starting line up after the heavy defeat at Sheffield Wednesday, but unfortunately for The Ravens it made little difference as they suffered another heavy defeat.
Orient started on the front foot with the impressive Yusuf Akhamrich having a shot saved by Shamal George. Jaze Kabia was next to call George into action with the home keeper saving at his near post.
Akhamrich was denied by George again after good work by Phillip Chinedu as The Os continued to press and Kabia fired over soon after.
Orient finally took the lead on 36 minutes when George made another save before Akhamrich sent in a dangerous cross and Kabia flicked his header home in a crowded area for 0-1.
Bromley rallied from there with with Marcus Ifill crossing for Omar Sowunmi who had a header saved by Noah Phillips and then Ethon Archer crossed for Richard Taylot who shot wide.
Late on Jacob Mendy was booked when bringing down Isaac Hayden who had raced clear down the right on a quick break for Orient.
The second half started with Bromley giving away the ball and the visitors made the most of it, breaking down the left with Demetri Mitchell sending in a low cross for Akhamrich to convert into the corner of the net.
It was 3-0 five minutes later when Akhamrich curled in a superb effort from the edge of the area past a static defence.
For long spells Orient kept the ball and played round a beleagured Bromley side who chased shaddows. Debutant George Saville did have one effort on goal, which Phillips saved.
Akhamrich and Kabia continued to test the home defence, eventually making it 4-0 on 66 minutes when a corner was played back towards goal and the ball deflected off Kabia and tricked into the net past the wrong footed George.
Akhamrich forced another save from Geroge, before Bromley finally had a spell of pressure. Sadly for the home fans, this came to nothing and Orient scored a fifth in injury time when Armando Dobra scored with his first touch, finishing easily after The Ravens had been opened up again.
Bromley now have just under a week to prepare for the visit of AFC Wimbledon on Monday night, hoping to turn things around, with new signing Jodie Jones almost certain to feature.
