Bristol Rovers v Charlton Athletic preview

Tickets for the 2018/19 season will go on sale next Thursday (12 April). The club has been delaying the release date to enable the prospecive new owners input on the pricing structure.

The takeover has dragged on for months and a speedy conclusion looks far from certain. To enable fans who like to renew on match days the opportunity to do so, the tickets will go on sale next week, regardless of whether the club has changed hands or not.

‎Before that, the Addicks have two games to play. First up is a trip to the West Country to play Bristol Rovers.

Lee Bowyer will be hoping to extend his winning streak to four. On their last visit to the Memorial Ground in November 2016, Charlton ran out 5-1 winners.

Three of the scorers that night – Josh Magennis, Parick Bauer and Nicky Ajose‎ – are likely to play some part on Saturday.

Bowyer will be without Tariqe Fosu for this match, but will have Ahmed Kashi availanle again.

The caretaker manager will have to decide between Jay Dasilva and Lewis Page for the left-back berth, but he is unlikely to tinker too much.

The Addicks may look something like this:

Amos; Konsa, Bauer, Pearce, Dasilva; Aribo, Forster-Caskey, Reeves, Kaikai; Zyro, Ajose.

Subs: Phillips, Page, Sarrl, Kashi, Marshall, Mavididi, Magennis.

‎The referee will be Rob Lewis of Shropshire.

The Pirates a‎re safely ensconced in mid-table and have little other than pride to play for. Bowyer will fancy his chances of winning the game.
