Bradford City 1-1 Charlton Athletic
Karl Robinson’s patched up team held Bradford City to a 1-1 draw at The Valley on Tuesday evening, and could have taken all three points.

Jorge Teixeira gave the Addicks the lead ten minutes before the interval, but Timothee Dieng evened things up seven minutes later.
Nathan Byrne and Joe Aribo were ruled out, and Ezri Konsa was confined to the bench. Patrick Bauer came back into the side, and Jordan Botaka and Jake Forster-Caskey returned to the bench.
With Chris‎ Solly still out, Adam Chicksen had to fill in at right-back. Robinson deployed a diamond midfield with Johnnie Jackson at the base, Ricky Holmes at the tip, and Andrew Crofts and Frederik Ulvestad in the middle.
Holmes won a free-kick ten minutes before the break. Holmes took the kick himself, and found Patrick Bauer. The big German headed the ball back across goal to Teixeira. Teixeira controlled it on his chest before volleying past Colin Doyle.
Charlton surrendered their advantage seven minutes later. Declan Rudd spilled Mark Marshall’s shot, and Timothee Dieng was on hand to head the ball home.
A fairly tepid first-half‎ gave way to a much livelier second with the Addicks dominating proceedings.
‎The best chance fell to Tony Watt just past the hour mark. Played in by Lee Novak, the Scot blazed a golden chance inches wide.
Novak ‎just failed to get on the end of a driven Holmes cross, and Crofts,  Holmes, Ulvestad and Jackson all went close.
Charlton’s injury woes continued when Lewis Page was forced off with a leg injury twenty minutes from time.
The point edges the Addicks closer to safety, and before the game – given the opposition and makeshift look of his team – Robinson would probably have settled for a point.
But with the way events transpired after the interval, he will feel disappointed not to have taken all three.
