Boreham Wood v Bromley preview

It’s a clash of two mid-table sides struggling for form when Bromley travel to Hertfordshire to face Boreham Wood in the National League on Saturday.

Neil Smith’s side are looking to turn around a run of four defeats, while the hosts have lost their last three and only recorded one win in their last six.

Both clubs, who were promoted together from Conference South in 2015, need to pick up a couple of wins to completely dispel and threat of relegation and secure a third season in the National League.

The Ravens sit in 12th place with 45 points from 35 games while Boreham Wood are one place lower with 43 points from 34.

The last time Bromley played at Meadow Park in September 2015 The Ravens won 3-2 and in this seasons fixture at Hayes Lane they recorded a 1-0 win thanks in part to a fantastic penalty save from Alan Julian.

The Ravens have gone through plenty of personnel changes since then and Smith has an extra headache ahead of this match with Blair Turgott, Lee Minshull and Dan Johnson all suspended.

Johnson and Minshull both seeing red against Braintree on Tuesday night in the 5-0 defeat at Hayes Lane.

Games between these two familiar foes are always very tightly contested and with both teams looking to halt losing runs this one should prove to be no different.
