After a blank weekend due to The Valley’s frozen pitch, Charlton head north to face high-flying Bolton on Saturday.
Jorge Teixeira is suspended and will miss the game, and Karl Robinson may also be without Patrick Bauer, who picked up a hip injury against Millwall.
The big German was due to return to training on Thursday, but Robinson may choose not to risk him.
Roger Johnson and Ezri Konsa look the likely central defensive pairing, with Frederik Ulvestad replacing Konsa as Andrew Crofts’ defensive midfield partner.
At his press conference on Thursday, Robinson only mentioned Bauer returning to training, and Lee Novak being fit when asked if the injury situation had eased.
It suggests that Lewis Page is still unfit, so Adam Chicksen is likely to drop back into defence.
Ricky Holmes may now be fit enough to come in for Chicksen on the left of the advanced midfield trio, and Novak is the probable replacement for Josh Magennis up front.
Robinson’s team may look something like this:
Rudd; Solly, Konsa, Johnson, Chicksen; Ulvestad, Crofts; Byrne, Aribo, Holmes; Novak.
Subs: Phillips, Bauer, Dasilva, Dijksteel, Forster-Caskey, Watt, Ajose.
Robert Jones from Merseyside will be the referee.
Tha Addicks need to start winning matches on a regular basis if they want to gate crash the play-off places, but Robinson will probably be happy to take a point from this game.
