Billings joins England team mate Jason Roy at the franchise, with Notts Outlaws’ Michael Lumb set to link up as Roy’s replacement in January during the England ODI tour of India.

Having spent time with Sixers wicketkeeper Brad Haddin as a team mate with Islamabad United in the Pakistan Super League, Billings said he was looking forward to linking up with his team mate again.

“Brad Haddin is another one who helped me massively in my time with Islamabad United, both with keeping and batting and I’m looking forward to working with him again,” Billings said.

“(He) really did help me with all of my game, so I’m looking forward to seeing him and spending some time with the other guys.”

The 25-year-old currently has 13 appearances for England in white ball cricket since his debut in 2015 and this year has also appeared in the Indian Premier League for Delhi Daredevils this year.
