Billings named in England squads

The England National Selectors have named the squads for the men’s white-ball tour of South Africa with Kent captain Sam Billings named in both squads.

Billings is rewarded with a place in both the T20 and One Day International squads after impressing in recent games for England.

Despite impressing for the England Test squad, Kent batsman Zak Crawley hasn’t been named for either of the shorter formats, whilst Joe Denly has fallen down the pecking order and misses out.

The touring party depart on Monday 16 November and will play three IT20s and three ODIs taking place behind closed doors in a bio-secure environment at Newlands, Cape Town and Boland Park, Paarl.
