Bell-Drummond off to T10 League

Kent Spitfires opening batter Daniel Bell-Drummond will link up with Team Abu Dhabi for the Abu Dhabi T10 League, held in the UAE between 19th November – 4th December.

The right-hander has previously turned out for Qalandars in the competition, making one appearance against his new side on 6 February, scoring 46 runs from 19 deliveries and taking two catches.

A 2021 Vitality Blast champion, Bell-Drummond will be linking up with former Kent player and Director of Cricket, Paul Farbrace, who is Team Abu Dhabi’s Head Coach.

Bell-Drummond joins an Abu Dhabi squad already boasting fellow English players Liam Livingstone, Jamie Overton, Danny Briggs, Phil Salt and Chris Benjamin, as well as Ireland’s Paul Stirling and West Indies white-ball legend, Chris Gayle.

The 2021-22 Abu Dhabi T10 League is the fifth instalment of ‘Cricket’s Fastest Format’, an ICC-sanctioned tournament with all matches taking place at Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
