The Medway Assassins roller hockey team, entered their first tournament in Eastbourne on Sunday and finished in 2nd place.

The Assassins, who are proudly sponsored by Medway LaserTag , are classed as a pee wee team (under 12 years old), played 3 group matches against teams from Hastings, Brighton and Eastbourne, and after beating Hastings and Brighton (9-2 and 5-3) they then lost to Eastbourne 3-1.

As they finished the group stage in 2nd place, they were then drawn against Eastbourne once again in the final and narrowly lost 2-1 to finish runners up.
The Assassins play their next tournament in a few weeks time once again in Eastbourne and will no doubt be aiming to go one better next time!
