It’s a game between tenants and landlords at Oakley Road on Tuesday night when AFC Greenwich Borough entertain Holmesdale in the SCEFL Challenge Cup second round.

In their debut season Greenwich Borough currently sit in second place in the First Division with 28 points from 10 games played, having lost only once in the league this campaign. Last Saturday Reece Parara’s Borough won 5-0 at home to Banstead Athletic thanks to second half goals from Elliott Carey, Wilfred Evans, Bradley Ryan, Oghosa Williams and Stefan Payne.
Holmesdale go into the cup tie sitting in seventh place in the Premier Division with 23 points from 15 league matches, Andy Constable’s side lost 5-0 away at Whitstable Town on Saturday their third defeat in a row and they will be looking to get a confidence boosting win to reverse recent fortunes.
To reach the second round of the SCEFL Challenge Cup Holmesdale won 3-0 away to Punjab United, with goals from Lewis Heywood-Oriogun, Malachai Hudson and Kayden Turner-Bernard. While Borough received a bye.
The sides met in pre-season back in July with Greenwich Borough winning 2-0 and this looks set to be a very close cup game played out in familiar surroundings for both teams.
Kick off at Oakley Road is 7:45pm.
