Addicks set for stern Leeds test
Addicks set for stern Leeds test

Leeds quickly sold out their entire allocation of tickets for Saturday’s match at The Valley. The additional 200 seats Charlton made available being snapped up in minutes. The Valley

The Whites have retained their fantastic support on the road and are currently in eighth place, just three points from the play-off zone.

Leeds’ Achilles heel of recent times has been their away form. Including the Capital One Cup game at Newcastle, the Yorkshire outfit have lost their last five games on the road.

Charlton have won just one league game at The Valley all season and many people will fancy the game to end as a stalemate.

Chris Powell will be hoping his side can extend their current unbeaten run of five matches which includes four clean sheets.

The Addicks will be hoping to have Yann Kermorgant and Richard Wood available for the game, but if they fail to regain fitness, Powell may intensify his search for loanees to bolster his squad before Saturda.

There will be a terrific atmosphere at The Valley and former Premier League referee, Keith Stroud, will have to ensure that things do not spill over on the pitch.
