Addicks begin Championship in Birmingham

Charlton face a tough opening day fixture at Birmingham on 18 August.

The Blues will have a new manager and are still in financial turmoil but St Andrews is never an easy place to visit.

The Addicks then have two home games, Leicester on the Tuesday, followed by Hull on Saturday 25 August.

Palace will visit The Valley on 15 September with Charlton travelling to Selhurst on 2 February. The games with Millwall will take place on 1 December at The Valley and 16 March at the New Den.

The Addicks will entertain Ipswich on Boxing Day and make the short journey to Watford on New Year’s Day. The season will end with a fixture against Bristol City at The Valley on 4 May.

Those who like to follow the Addicks away will have some difficult midweek journeys to make.

Derby, Leeds, Cardiff, Leicester and Peterborough are all scheduled for Tuesday evenings with the much anticipated trip to Brighton’s Amex Stadium scheduled for Easter Monday.

Time for the planning and anticipation to begin.
