Fresh from his maiden GT4 class podium in Spa, Belgium, Patrick Kibble is ready to take on the next round of British GT competition at Brands Hatch this weekend where a two-hour race is expected to provide thrilling action at Patrick’s home event.

After securing his maiden British GT podium in his debut year of GT4 competition last time out at Spa only two weeks ago, Patrick is looking to secure another haul of points as the country’s premier GT series heads to the Kent-based circuit.

The year so far has provided 16-year-old Patrick with many positives, including a pole position at the season’s blue riband event at Silverstone in June where Patrick stormed to P1 on the grid in his Aston Martin Vantage GT4. With strong performances apparent all season, Patrick can now look forward to what lies in store this weekend.

Providing an exciting challenge for the Aston Martin Racing Academy Driver, Patrick and his TF Sport team-mate Josh Price will tackle the 2.433-mile GP formation of the circuit, as the season reaches its penultimate round.

Patrick is no stranger to achieving success at Brands Hatch. In 2018 in the Ginetta Junior Championship, Patrick scored a triumph of podiums to take three third places away from the weekend.

Speaking ahead of the weekend, Kibble said: “I’m really looking forward to this weekend at Brands Hatch, with it being my home race as well as the team’s. We were lucky enough to be able to test at the track a couple of weeks ago and I felt like I was pretty strong and the car suited the track. I’m going to be taking the confidence from finishing on the podium last week at Spa, making me want to reach the top step this time!”
