New Faversham Town bosses – Danny Chapman and Phil Miles – have brought a couple of Gillingham youngsters ahead of the BOSTIK South East East Swale derby this weekend.

Young third choice keeper Louie Catherall and defender Ryan Huckle make the trip to Salters Lane – in Catherall’s case it’ll be to replace the suspened Will Godmon who was sent off in the hammering Faversham received at Whyteleafe last weekend.  Huckle has only just returned to Priestfield from a similar spell at Dover Athletic.

Boss Miles told KSN, “we’re delighted to have the new boys in as we’ve lost goalkeeper Will (Godmon) for Saturday with suspension and central defender Dave Cook for four to six weeks.  Fingers crossed the boys will come in do a job and enjoy themselves so we can keep them for as long as we can”

The new Faversham arrivals will have two familiar faces in the Sittingbourne squad as fellow Giils youngsters full back Danny Divine and midfielder Harry Woods are looking to make their debuts for the Brickies after last weeks game with VCD Athletic was washed out.

Meanwhile, striker Leroy Hlabi has signed for Canterbury City on a one month loan deal earlier this week and set up two goals as City defeated Beckenham Town 3-2 at Eden Park Avenue.
