Purple Parrott are a newly formed Sports Management company with ambitions for the future. They will be looking after Laura’s future as she looks to achieve her ultimate aim of racing in Formula One.

Laura has shown that she can compete in any race and series from karting to Formula Renault, performing to a consistently high level any whatever race car she gets behind the wheel of.

Most recently Laura has been competing in the MRF Challenge, which is a winter single seater series based in India. Once she got used to the tracks, her results got better and better. With a best result of 8th place, beating some extremely talented male drivers along the way in the popular series.Laura Tillet

Speaking about signing with Purple Parrott for the next three years, Laura said: “It was a great opportunity that came around that you don’t get very often. We had nothing to lose, I wasn’t driving and Glenn came around and he was really keen, he really knows what he is talking about and I thought this sounds great. I didn’t even hesitate.

“Glenn is really keen to push me forward in the single seater route and that is obviously what I want to do, and hopefully by working together we will be able to push me further than I could do on my own. Purple Parrott have a lot of drive to be able to do it and that is a really good sign, and it is nice to see a manager who really wants things for their drivers and I really liked that, I know we are going to get a lot of attention from Glenn and his team.”

It promises to be an exciting time for Laura as she looks to take the next step in her racing career and with her still only being 23-years-old she has the world at her feet and is looking to get back to racing on a regular basis soon.

Purple Parrott are delighted that Laura has signed for them for the next three years, partner Glenn Thompson said: “We are very pleased to have Laura on board and we believe that she could potentially be the first women to race in Formula One. More exciting news concerning Laura is to be announced shortly.”

An announcement will be made shortly about the series that Laura will be racing in next.
