Charlton have released details of a pre-season fixture against Colchester. The game will  take place at the Colchester Community Stadium on Tuesday 23 July, with a 7.30 kick-off.

The confirmed warm-up games are:

Saturday 13 July Welling (a)

Tuesday 16 July Ebbsfleet (a)

Wednesday 17 July Dagenham & Redbridge (a)

Tuesday 23 July Colchester (a)

Saturday 27 July Aston Villa (h)

Both Saturday games kick-off at 3.00pm, and all three midweek games will start at 7.30pm.

The Addicks’ pre-season schedule is now almost complete. They have a blank to fill on Saturday 20‎ July, but as his team play on successive nights in the preceding midweek, Lee Bowyer may want to give his squad additional recovery time.

The players normally return to Sparrows Lane at the end of June.‎ Bowyer will probably start preparations for the new campaign with a week at a European training camp, possibly in Spain , and will probably play a game or two whilst out there.
