Medway based racer Aaron Steele will be back behind the wheel for a full season in the F3 Cup for 2015.

Steele will be competing for Grays Motorsport as he looks to target the title in his return to racing in a full series.

He is no stranger series having previously raced in 2011, winning 14 races and taking 15 pole positions and he will be looking to follow that up in 2015.

It has been unfortunately stop start for Steele in getting on track and racing since then, last season he competed in a one off round for Grays, and he finished with a sixth place.

He will be making his full-time racing comeback in a Dallara F307 Mugen in the Cup Class and will be targeting a full title attack.

Speaking ahead of his return to the series, a delighted Steele said: “I’m really looking forward to competing back in F3 Cup in 2015 with Grays Motorsport. Last time in 2011 we had such a successful season, who wouldn’t want to have a go at repeating that?

“The opportunity to get the old team back together for another go was just too good of an opportunity to miss. The only thing better than racing, is racing in a team of friends. I have to say a huge thank you to Jon Jnr, John Snr and Roma Gray for making this happen. The thought of getting the opportunity later this summer to go back through Eau Rouge, flat out in Formula 3 machinery, is enough to keep me up at night.

“There’s still plenty of hard pre-season prep to do, such as understand the new Pirelli tyres and their characteristics, but we will get there and hopefully be fighting for victory at Oulton Park.”

Aaron will get the opportunity to sample those new tyres in the next few weeks as he gets behind the wheel as part of his pre-season preparations.
