Gillingham have two players returning to the squad this weekend for the League One trip to Oldham Athletic.

Tom Eaves and Luke O’Neill have both recovered from their respective injuries. Billy Bingham is set to miss the remainder of the season after picking up a thigh strain in training on Monday.

Lee Martin is still serving a suspension after seeing red against Southend. Franck Moussa and Rhys Murphy are both carrying slight knocks.

Oldham defender Kean Bryan will miss Saturday’s clash with Gillingham after picking up a hamstring injury.

Brian Wilson is now fit again after a spell on the sidelines with a groin injury. Forward Craig Davies made his comeback from the bench in the 1-1 draw against Walsall on Wednesday and could be in contention to start.

Oldham currently sit 20th in the League One table, only three points above the relegation zone.

Oldham have won seven of their last eight home league matches against Gillingham (D1) since losing 3-1 in February 2000.

The Gills have won two of their last 17 league matches against the Latics (D4 L11).

The Latics have kept a clean sheet in six of their last 10 league games against Gillingham, with four of those coming at home.

Tom Eaves is Gillingham’s top scorer with 13 goals in League One this season, however he hasn’t found the net in any of his last eight appearances in the competition.
