Motorbase heads to Goodwood

Motorbase Performance head to the Goodwood Festival of speed this weekend with Andrew Jordan joining the star studded line-up at the iconic festival. Round 5 of the 2016 British Touring Car Championship.
Red Bull Athlete Jordan has been invited to take part in the iconic hill climb which is held annually within the picturesque grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex. One of the world’s most famous events featuring stars from the world of motorsport; the Festival of Speed attracts over 200,000 visitors from across the globe.

David Bartrum, Motorbase Performance Team Principal commented; “Goodwood Festival of Speed is arguably the biggest motorsport event in the world and we’re delighted to be able to participate in such an iconic event.”

“I’m sure that Andrew will do a great job in the Focus. It’s a great achievement for him to be invited and a superb opportunity for us to be able to take Motorbase, our partners and the BTCC to an even bigger audience. It’s going to be a highlight of the season!”

“It is a huge honour to be asked to take part in this event,” added Jordan, who is already a race winner and crowd favourite at the nearby Goodwood race track. “I don’t think the pace of the Focus up the hill will trouble the times of the Formula 1 cars, but it is a fantastic opportunity for me and my sponsors.”

The theme for this year’s Festival is ‘Full Throttle – The Endless Pursuit of Power’ and the three day ‘garden party’ will celebrate many of the most powerful machines from motorsport history with over 600 race cars, motorbikes, rally cars and supercars taking part in the action.
