Margate Football Club have today completed the signing of former Gillingham striker Tom Murphy from Horsham.
The Blues put in a seven day approach for the former Fanrborough forward and that period has now elapsed. Tom will go into the squad for the trip to AFC Hornchurch tomorrow (Tuesday).
The 20 year old started his career at Gillingham from where he went on to play for Lewes, Thurrock and Farnborough in the Blue Square Bet South, and briefly Horsham in the Ryman League Premier Division.
Murphy has been brought to Hartsdown Park to bolster Gate’s striking options following Kwasi Appiah’s move to Crystal Palace.
