Duo up for manager of the month
Duo up for manager of the month

Gillingham Manager Justin Edinburgh and Charlton interim manager Kevin Nugent have both being nominated for the November manager of the month award.justin-edinburgh9
The duo find themselves up against Graham Alexander of Scunthorpe and Phil Brown from just over the river in Essex who is manager of rivals Southend United.
It marks a huge turn around for Edinburgh who was struggling to see his side win and climb up the league table just a month ago, to oversee three victories in four league games in the last month. That included a 3-0 win at home to promotion chasing Rochdale, and gave the Gills a real boost, with them now sitting just three points off the play-off places.
Edinburgh has previously been nominated for the manager of the month award twice before, in December 2015 and August 2016.
Nugent took over the reins following Russell Slade’s sacking after the 3-0 defeat at Swindon on 12 November, and oversaw the 2-0 victory over Port Vale at The Valley, the 5-1 triumph at Bristol Rovers, and the 1-1 home draw with high flying Sheffield United .
‎The winner will be revealed on Friday morning.
