Kent clubs learn FA Trophy fate

The Second Round draw for the Buildbase FA Trophy has thrown up a repeat of last season’s quarter final and a couple of home draws – if the two Kent sides can win road trip First Round replays.

For last year’s beaten Finalists, there’s almost an instant return to Spennymoor Town for Neil Smith’s Bromley, where you may recall there was some issues in actually getting the game between the two in last year competition actually being played!

The only other Kent sides still in the competition both face Tuesday night replays.

Harry Wheeler’s Maidstone United try and avoid an “upset” against National South Woking who sit currently third in the table at the Gallagher with the winners hosting the winners of the replay between Maidenhead Town and Oxford City

Meanwhile, Andy Hessenthaler takes Dover Athletic for Tuesday’s replay with Havant and Waterlooville with the winners of that tie hosting Harrogate Town who have surprised many in the National League this season as they go into the Festive Period in third place.
